Since I've seen the 818C, I dream of it about every day or so....:rolleyes:
I subscribed here to read alot and get info on where my project could go. For now I'm only at the stage of 'Can it be done?'
It wont be for another 1.5/2 years before I start this, but I am the kind of guy that needs to know what he is getting in before spending this kind of money.
Since I had my first car, I've done alomost all my repairs/upgrades. Enigne wise I have some knowledge, but almost no practical. I did do a motorcycle engine once, teardown, cleaned and reassemble.
This project, if it does (it should) come to life will replace my sports bike ('96 YZF1000 mine, '98 YZF600 wife). It is becoming increasingly expensive to run those (about $1300 CDN each bike for licence) being from Quebec we have a part of our licence that goes to the mandatory insurance policy.
What I would like is to have is a close to 3 sec. 0-60 project (to match my bikes performance), but budget wise I will have around $25K to spend on this, so it might go slower then I dream of :o
