I am using a different type of switch to operate my hazard lights and want confirmation of what the pink wire does.
In the RF diagram it shows pink to one side of switch, and the green and blue to the other. So is the idea that the pink connects to both green and blue when hazards are engaged?
thanks

Yes. There needs to be a way to isolate them though or your directional will not work properly Most people use a Diode so they wont back feed. I use a dual pole single throw toggle switch. Pink to both poles, green to one side and blue to the other.

As Mike said for the hazards you use a DPST ON/OFF toggle. It will have two terminals on each end. On one end connect the pink feed wire to each terminal. On the other end connect the light blue right front turn wire to one terminal and connect the dark green left front turn wire to the other terminal:

Thanks guys. So here is my Saab 93 switch I plan to use. I have shown how the terminals connect in on and off position. Based on your photo Jeff I think this will work. What do you think?

Put a continuity tester on the blue and green terminals with the switch off and make sure they are not connected. If they are you will need diodes.

Mike, yes they are connected in the 'on' sketch. They are not connected in the 'off' position. I was thinking about this compared to Jeffs photo and essentially its the same. The green and blue become joined through the pink.
However, if I need a diode, would I just put it across the bottom two terminals?

I misread your post Mike. Yes in the OFF position no terminals are connected, so I think I am good to go!
