I recall seeing a thread with installation of a single windshield wiper. I have been unable to relocate the thread. Can anyone help me find it?

Thought I would post my windshield wiper mounting. I didn't need any hood trimming either.
I took Lumpyguys arrangement and fine tuned it a bit. Works awesome.

Here is mine. I basically copied Harley, though my attachments are a little different. I used the stock driver's arm. RainX wiper. Raised the rear of the hood using custom brackets that could be removed. Didn't have to cut the hood. Wiper arm came within 1/16" of the remote brake fluid reservoir.... I used the brackets to locate it as low as possible to keep the hood as low as possible. Also note the hood support I added in front to help raise the hood in the middle for wiper arm clearance.

I copied insurance guy:

It involved making a small bracket and using the motor that Bob originally posted. I like the simplicity.

Anyone try to pass inspection with this? in ohio you are allowed manual wipers, I might give it a try.

Hi guys I am fitting the hood to the fenders. For a single wiper what is the minimum height from windshield to the hood?this is what I have now but would like to lower a bit!

you have plenty of clearance, I cut the return on the back edge of the hood and added a support with a rubber stopper in the center of the hood.

Most of us with one wiper have made a hood prop that you can adjust after you get the wiper arm mounted, thus avoiding cutting the hood. You are showing about 2.25" and that's more than I have with my single arm wiper using the donor mechanism and donor arm.
