Is it necessary to remove the body to replace a leaking radiator in a MKII, or can it be removed from bottom of car? '93 5.0 drivetrain and cooling system.

Depends on how the builder installed the radiator but it should be totally possible to drop it out the bottom

I just went through this on a car i'm working on right now. The owner siliconed all of the nose aluminum in when he installed it. I had the body off already but it was a bear, I can't even imagine trying to get the aluminum panels off of there with the body still on the car. As it is, I had to fab up all new aluminum panels for the nose since I nearly destroyed them getting them removed. If in fact, the aluminum is just riveted in you should be able to remove it and slide the radiator out of the bottom as it was suggested above.

Just did this last week. It will come out the bottom. removing the shroud will help.

Thanks for the quick replies. My panels are riveted and radiator is bolted. Looks like it will slide out the bottom without too much hassle. Thanks Again.
