Hello guys, i was looking for a shaved looked for my MK4.
I did researched but only seeing eletric universal systems without latchs
I have no problem if its a cable or eletric (would love to go keyless at the same time)
Anyone allready found the latch i would need ?
What are the good keyless system ?

I used a normal Ford (powered) Truck Latch. During my build I couldn't decide where to put the button to operate the Latch... Then one of my almost dead brain cells kicked in, "Wireless Remote"! Going to ebay I bough a two channel remote (w/module) for $7.00 (in China) and used it. Mine works like a Champ.
Using the Ford Latch, the manual release will fit in the original FFR trunk hole perfect (and your License plate will cover the hole). If your battery goes Dead, all you have to do is remove the license plate and open it with a screwdriver.
All the Info is on the other forum I posted the Wireless Remote info and Dale did the Ford Latch. Search "Remote Trunk Latch Installation Guide". The Remote Info is under "Trunk Remote Opener".
