Delivered 8442 to the Painter in Surrey BC Canada for a PPG Guardsman Blue Wimbledon White finish. Just a quick 30 mile drive from Home across the I-5 Peace arch Border. 40 yr Corvette restoration/repair shop that has had it's share of C**** Replicas over the years. Sharing shop floor with a FFR collision repair and complete Re-paint now.
They will start tomorrow blocking and fine tuning the bodywork I started several months ago after putting 350 shake down miles end of summer.

Last week the body shop tuned up some of my bodywork then I went up this weekend and disassembled off the chassis with help from my brother Ron. Should have color when we return from Barrett Jackson Scottsdale this weekend.

Putting the Bling back on drilled the 1/8" holes for the emblems and got a nice snug fit, just a dab of clear silicone on the back of each one.

Thanks Steve Hope to have lizard skin sprayed this week so I can get carpets in and get the Body back on chassis by April just in time for some good spring driving.

Today I prepped and taped for the Lizard Skin Sound Insulation Applied 2 coats 1 hr apart. Will wait 24 hrs per instructions and apply Heat Ceramic Insulation to the Cockpit area only. Will be ready for Carpet installation next in both Cockpit and trunk.

My brother Ron came over today and wired the twin fans with a relay controlled by a toggle switch on dash. it's more for looks but does move some air if needed.
