Trunk Interior Side Panel

Some builds have it, some don't. I presume this particular panel was once provided with the kit but no longer is. If this is a customization that some of you guys are doing is there a template available somewhere? Thanks.

Factory Five made a running change early in the Mk4 production. They changed from two pieces for the trunk sides -- the front one on the inside and the back one on the outside -- to a single piece on the outside that runs the length of the trunk. What you have now. It's OK to leave the front inside open. You really can't see it once the body is on, and most people carpet the trunk anyway. But it does make the carpet job a bit more difficult. For that reason I did make a fill panel, similar to what you picture here, for my last build and plan to do the same this time around. But I don't have a pattern. It's about a 5 minute job with a piece of cardboard.
