View Full Version : Will new Coupe top be removable?
I can't seem to move on from 818 it just has me. I maybe seriously considering dumping my roadster and building one. So is the coupe a dedicated hardtop car or will/can it be a roadster as well????

As far as FFR is concerned it is swappable but it's not a 10 minute job. More like a saturday job you might want to do between seasons. You will need to buy the parts for the convertible on top of the coupe kit also.
Hope this helps.

I have an 818C and I'm not really sure how they intend for for it to really be removable. It's deffenently going to be a 2 man job at the minimum. You will also need a lot of room to place the top when it's off. My plan is to make a hoist similar to what the Jeep people do because I'm sure I'm going to need to relive it when I need to work on the car and I don't want to really on having to find a second person to always help me when I need to wrench on things.
