Can someone please share some pics of your access to master cylinder
I am about to do some surgery on my windshield and need to see how others attacked this.
With and without aluminum piece that is in the center of windshield front
Thank you

I had to hack up the windshield a lot to make it work. I can't access the master cylinders with the race screen since hacking it away like that would be a lot of structural integrity taken away

I've seen pics scattered around but I'd love to see some of them in one place. I haven't cut mine yet either.

Here you go! Hacked up for sure. But it gets the job done.

Thanks
I was afraid that is what has to be done.

Yeah, I didn't have any other ideas. It's a lot easier to remove the race windscreen so it isn't as big a deal if you can't access the fluids with it in. The windshield is a little bit of a pain, and I don't know if I could pop it in and out confidently alone. I don't think the cut is structurally compromising.

Don't hack up your windshield. Get a remote master cylinder reservoir kit from Mike Everson . . . http://replicaparts.com/818%20parts%20page.htm

Oh I wish I used that before I plumbed and set up brakes. I am not touching brake system took me too long to get it leak free and bled. Unless it is installed with ease I have to cut windshield.
