nose/fenders attachment

I have run into another issue.

Here are some pics of my nose with the fenders.

It looks like it needs to go back another inch or so, but it cannot go back any further as the sides are already touching the frame that the radiator is attached to.

See the red circles I put in the pics.

Do I need to grind out the fiberglass to be able to move the nose back the inch or so?

I took off as much as I could moving the bumper back until bumper front touched the tube

I did not find those pics, but it looks like that is what I need to do.

I don't know if it's correct or not, but I had to cut out a huge portion of the area you have circled in order to make the nose fit.
