Not sure if I have enough time to post everything I do on both forums. I think I will try and maintain contact with this one. I would like to chime in occasionally at the other one but don't have any posts yet to do so. I know I have learned a lot from both.

I used to for both, however - I only read and submit to this one. Got a little tired of all the advertising and other issues. This one is moderated better in my opinion.

It's a matter of what you are building, for the roadsters, the other forum has more information
For the 818 and GTM, this one
As for moderation, you'll find the key moderators hold the position on both.

I've been on the FF cars since it was founded and another one before that. Now that FFR has it's own I always read there along with FF Cars and AZ Cobra's (since I live in AZ) FFR forum is great info for FFR cars. FF Cars has a variety of topics and good classified section. Answer: Both

Both for me as well. As Bill S. mentioned, varies some depending on what you're building or following. For us Roadster guys, FFCars still seems to have more traffic, posts, and hard to discount the history and what you can find with searching. But lots of good stuff over here too.

I was just thinking the exact same thing. I also submitted a new thread that touched on the same thing but it apparently needed a moderator to approve.
I pretty much live on the other forum but do not want to miss out on other local guys who may only use this one.

I only read and post here regularly. I find the other one to be very difficult to use. I don't like having to read threads backwards. I don't like all the ads. I also like the fact that FFR sponsors this one. They have been very good to me, I want to repay the favor by being loyal to their site. I have found that I can trust the information that I get here. (No disrespect to the other site, I just have not spent much time reading over there.) I find the moderators of this site to be doing an excellent job at maintaining the site in a way that I can be proud to show to other enthusiasts. At the risk of opening up a can of worms that should not be opened, I wish the other one would be merged into this site.

I read both forums but rarely post on here. This one seems far more 818 oriented, the other one is roadster nirvana. Cheers.

"Reading the threads backwards" is a personal preference which you or your computer set up when you signed up.
The threads in all three forums read in correct time order for me

Both for me but I seem to get more answers per post on the other.

I wish everybody would come here but they don't. I remember back in the day you could ask a question and by that night, it was 2 to 3 pages back. Not today. A post will stay on the front page at least a day or 2. I guess more people know what they are doing.
I do see more people with small post counts being a little, well, lets say... not very nice.

So the first thing I did when I read your post was to look and see what you were building. I see you're doing a Roadster. You can choose to do whatever you want, obviously, but in my considered opinion you would serve yourself well by researching that site thoroughly, whether you like the navigation or not. As others have said, the vast majority of the Roadster experience resides there.
You can tell some of the old-timers by the fact that they use the same handle here and there. I do, ram_g there as well (with something like a 10X post count).
