Would anyone have the size of the counter sunk screws that are needed to hold the latch mechanism in place. The donor ones are about 1/4 inch to short.
I have read that others are replacing them.
I use McMaster Carr , so if you have a part number or size I will be eternally grateful. 3 are needed for each mechanism.
I have read Wayne's sticky on this and that would work except I have previously painted the sails with an undercoating and now the light trick does not work. Looks like I can fit a small drill and drill a hole from the rear. ( I hope)

Yeah pretty sure those are M8-1.25. I got them in 30mm long stainless at home depot and had no issue with the extra length.
