[ new to forum. about to run my a/c lines in the engine bay, have a 302 with the compressor on the driver side. thinking about running along the front of the frame on top, then tie into the compressor. has anyone done a set-up like this, any ideas would be great. also has anyone did their own line crimping? thanks, racedog

I had the same setup and ran my lines from the firewall on the passenger side..to the condenser on the same side..up to the compressor on the drivers side. I also crimped my own lines..wasn't difficult at all.

Mounted mine on the lower right. Made my own lines as well. The new style hoses are easy to do.

I'm also using an EFI 302 with compressor on driver side. Bought my A/C kit from Whitby because of better hose location on evaporator and non-painted condenser. Pics show that I ran the discharge hose forward along the frame (behind shocks) to condenser. Ran the suction hose back along firewall. Pretty standard, but everything is out of the way.

I am installing the AC unit in the 33, question is FFR sent me the dryer with trinity switch but no #8 fitting for the switch. Has any one not used the switch, or did FF screwup again? where did you place the dryer?

I called Vintage Air, the trinity safety switch installs in the dryer side port. Oh well live and learn.
