Every now and then I have to leave the Mk 3 roadster outside. Any recommendations for a cover would be appreciated.
I bought the kit back in 2005. It took 2 years to complete. It has a bit over 12K on it and its been great to drive.
I was pretty active on the forum back then but lost touch for a while. I wonder what happened to all the pics I posted. Is photo bucket still around?
Thanks
Mark.

There are some cobra specific covers you can buy. OTOH, go to your favorite auto parts store and get one for a Miata in whichever grade you prefer.

I have 3 of these that I use to cover other cars in the shop when I'm doing body work or painting:
AutoCraft Easy Fit Car Cover, Fits Up to 15' (Grey) AC212: Advance Auto Parts (http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/autocraft-easy-fit-car-cover-fits-up-to-15-grey-ac212/10056643-P?searchTerm=car+covers+%26+accessories)
They work fine for protecting against dust and overspray but will offer absolutely no water resistance. You might consider spending a little more and getting a cover that will hold the rain out if you get caught in the weather. I bought one of these 8 years ago because it was cheap and it has exceeded my expectations tremendously. In all that time and after being rained on probably close to 50 times it has never let a single drop through!
AutoCraft Easy Fit Car Cover, Fits Up to 15' (Tan) AC63: Advance Auto Parts (http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/autocraft-easy-fit-car-cover-fits-up-to-15-tan-ac63/6010614-P?searchTerm=car+covers+%26+accessories)
I recommended the same to the owners of two other cars that I built and theirs have performed equally well. Pretty darn impressive for only 70 bucks!

I know this is not quite what you asked for. But, have you considered a tonneau cover? You can pop that on right when you jump out of the car with the pipes hot.
I have been wondering about a tonneau cover. Dose anyone know the options available?

If you want the original style one with Lift-a-dot fasteners, FFR sells them. Those have the little spikes that are on the body and the cover snaps onto them.
There are also snapless ones. There are two different couples that make them. Depending on what options you want and what seats you have, determines who you deal with. You can get plain, matching stripes, lettering, or whatever.
I have a plain black one for low back seats and dual roll bars. I love it. Look here for info and some pictures.
