Getting close to starting it up.

I need to know what fluids I should buy and in what quantities.

trans is g96-01, engine is the stock C5 corvette 5.9.

Brake Fluid (Dot 3?, 4?, 5?)
Hydraulic clutch fluid (Dot 3?, 4?, 5?, can I use the same as the brake fluid?)
Engine Oil (I read this somewhere: Seven quarts of Mobile One Synthetic 5W-30 oil)
Trans Fluid (I read this somewhere: 2.7 Liters, Mobil Delvac 75W-90)
Coolant (IAT,OAT or HOAT, IE what color, how much.)
Refrigerant, 12a? 22a?

corvette owners manual specifies a DOT 3 brake fluid

What dictates the type of fluid to use, is it the wildwood assemblies or the Corvette side of the braking system?

Looks okay to me, however, for initial start up and for the first few heat cycles, I'd suggest that you just use water in the cooling system. You may have leaks and water is a lot easier (and cheaper) to clean up and replace. Plus, you really don't want coolant spewing all over your engine do you?

Thanks Ray that's a good idea.

Do you know which brake fluid type is recommended for the brakes and what is recommended for the clutch?

I think its Dot 3, it should say in the manual. I used the same for both brakes and clutch but I was using the mendeola. That should not make a difference.

I found this in the GTM manual

"Engine oil, 10W-30 – 5 Qts"
"Gear oil, 80W-90 (for rear end) – 2 Qts."(WHAT REAR END?)
"Transmission fluid, Mercon automatic Trans fluid – 4 Qts."
"Brake fluid, DOT 3 – 1 Qt."

"The filling process is taken from the GM Corvette service manual. Make sure to use a 50-60% mixture of
distilled water and DEX-COOLŽ coolant. Fill the system through the surge tank opening until the fluid
level is ˝” below opening."
