Dave, the white one looks perfect! The finish looks good and I don't see parting lines.
I've prepaid for white and now look forward to getting a production date and shipping cost.

Any word on the nose updates for those of us upgrading from the 818S?

Paid in full for the top and the front when they first announced the production dates. Still waiting for a call about shipping and production.

is it shipping as a single piece like in the picture so little/no body work to be done?
also any info as far as crate size and weight so we can shop around for shipping prices? possibly even do a group shipping with fellow southern california guys if anyone is down cause the more we can save the better

With the indentations on each side for the windows, I don't think there is any way to use a single piece mold. you can see the mold line in this picture.

Has anyone received information for shipping the new nose or hardtop?
I was quoted 2-3 weeks the day I placed my order for the new nose pieces on 11/24. I know I'm nowhere near the front of the line for these pieces. I would anticipate some builders should be getting contacted anytime now.

Just to let everyone know, after getting one of the crates built, we have found that the Retrofit front end will fit in the crate with the Hardtop for shipping! I know a lot of you were asking about this. Good news for all! :)

That's great news, any update yet on shipping prices. How about crate dimensions so we can search for other shipping companies.
