I am testing the waters to see if a lucky person would like to own my Type 65 Coupe. Kit was purchased on 6/23/14 and finished on 4/8/15. I built this car to be a driver. My intention was to build it as a street car not a race car replica. It was my vision of what might have been if they ever were made for the street. This was my 4th FFR build. The car has a modified 5.0 with a new T-5 and 8.8 with a 3.27 rear gear. A/C, heat & def, Electric P/S, Power brakes, hydraulic clutch, FM/MP3 stereo unit, Kirkey seats, LED lights, 1/4 windows and numerous modifications to make it a joy to drive. Keyless entry with remote door openers. Show quality paint by Huegenics. Car has won best of show awards and draws huge crowds anywhere it goes. Pictures do not do this car justice, IMO. Car is very fast, great handling and a real stunner in person. Check out Wallace18 build thread for type65 to see entire build and tons of photos. Car has currently 1278 miles but I drive it weekly to shows and cruise ins. Car has a Florida Title and is titled as a 1965 FFRI 2dr Replica. PM me or email me at

Here is a little more info. Car is a 3-link. Has 94 Mustang GT disc brakes front and FFR 11.65" rear disc kit. A/C, heat and Defrost. Glass rear window(gen2 kit). I am 6'3" tall and fit fine in car. It has a small rear console that houses the battery disconnect and cell charging port. Chrome FR500 rims 17x9 front with Nitto NT555 255/40/17 tires. Rear are 17x10.5 with Nitto 315/35/17. I installed heat shields in engine compartment as well as most aluminum coated with Lizard Skin sound and ceramic heat barrier. Eastwood thermocoustic on the entire inside of passenger compartment. Entire inside carpeted. Underside of all fiberglass painted with SKS coating for protection and chip resistance. Truck bed liner coating used in other areas under car for same. Trick fog lights that have LED rings that can change to any 1 of 5 different colors with button on console. Car runs very cool. Never went over 185 engine temp even in 95 degree Florida weather with A/C on. Car has quick disconnect steering wheel to ease entry if needed. Fuel injection so no worry's about ethanol in system messing with carb or carbs. Comes with manual, spare exhaust pipes, software and cable for fuel injection programming and tuning. Tinted rear and side windows. Truly a one of a kind Type 65 that will thrill someone to own and drive.

I will be willing to make a deal on swapping out the wheels and tires for Halibrand Replicas if someone really wants them over the F500 wheels on the car. PM me for details. This car really needs to be seen and driven in person to really appreciate. Pictures and video do not do it justice. I also still have all the scoops that came with the kit.

The 17" ones from FFR. Not sure if you understand this is only if someone buys my coupe.

Yes I understand. There are three different sets on FFR. Do you have 17x9 Fronts and the 17x10.5 Rears?

I had a few questions about knee room and room around steering wheel. As stated before I am 6'3" tall, 240lbs and 32" inseam. These coupes are a little hard to get in and out of for people not use to race cars. For a car with a full roll cage it is very easy IMO. That being said here is some photos of those areas in question. Also a pic of the custom car cover that comes with the sale of the car.
