I'll be out there on the 27th. I'm currently building a 33 from Factory Five and was hoping to see some at the show so I could pick some brains and see some completed kits. Do you know of anyone else whose going to be out there?

Not really, though there usually a FFR 33 in the car corral. Come see me and I'll help anyway I can. I have built 5 FFR kits so far.

I enjoyed a beautiful sunny day at Daytona yesterday. Had literally hundreds of folks stop by to look at my Coupe. There was another Type 65 there but I found out about 20 minutes before I was leaving, and did not get to see it. Met the owner's though, very nice couple. I handed out about 40 FFR brochures. Dave, you may sell some kits on Monday, LOL. It was so great talking with so many people. I have a soft spot for allowing kids to sit in my Coupe and have their parents take pictures. I love to see them light up with excitement. Maybe I also made a few connections to build a kit or 2. Time will tell. Overall a great time. If you have never done the Turkey Rod Run it is most definitely a bucket list item for car people, IMO.

The wife and I were there on Friday. Soooooo many cool cars. Didn't see any FFR 33's but saw several roadsters. What is it about FFR people? They are ALWAYS willing to go the extra mile and tell you about the car, the build, the company. Hot Rodders in general are great people. But the FFR folks seem to shine.
The wife and I plan on building a 33. We are scrimping and saving. If all goes well, we order the kit in April.
PS: to get to the infield of the Daytona Speedway, you walk across the main straight. Ever wonder why race announcers make such a big deal about the cars being 3 abreast during a race? The track can't be much wider than a standard 2 car driveway. I was shocked at how narrow it is. Trust me........... 3 abreast is a BIG deal.
