I just got my letter from TC to say I can pick up my car!
I just need a pickup date, hopefully tomorrow, and I'm on my way!

Good stuff - it might be a while though. I got TC clearance about 6 weeks before I had my car delivered (Calgary). It got stuck in inspections for 10 days at the border. Finally arrived last Wed minus a few missing parts that the Customs people probably removed!

Pick up date is next Tuesday the 24th.

Be sure to take the time and do the factory tour. I was there for about 3 hours as they asked if I would mind waiting a bit to load as they were getting a Roadster ready for shipping to Russia. No Problem!! Maybe with a little luck Dave will give you a ride in his coupe. That made the visit for me. Well what made it was seeing the Roadster sliding into the truck and knowing it was mine.
Hopefuly your border crossing will be as uneventful as mine. Ten minutes total and they didn't even want to look in the truck to confirm what I was carrying.

Hmm? You think that Customs removed some parts?
You sure they are not simply the parts that FFR deletes from our kits. What were you missing?

Well I'll be renting a trailer so lets hope I don't get held up, I think being with it will help get it home.

You sure they are not simply the parts that FFR deletes from our kits. What were you missing?
I'm not totally sure yet as one major thing missing was a packing slip and whatever other paperwork was contained in the envelope. My completion kit is being shipped from Whitby Motorcars today so once I have that I should be able to figure out what - if anything - I am missing.
I am told to expect a fedex package in a week or so which should have some offical FFR stuff (like the serial number of the car etc) so fingers crossed.

Steve, it may just be that FFR had some parts on back order. That would not be unusual. You can't really be sure of this till you get the packing slips..
Did you check all the boxes for the slips? I think I found mine buried in one of them..
