View Full Version : Is anyone in the SoCal area interested in featuring their 818 in a car show episode?

Matt Farah from the The Smoking Tire, who also is heavily involved with the popular /DRIVE youtube channel, said he would do an episode on the 818 if he could meet up with someone who had one.

Would any of you guys be interested in that? I think that would be super cool to see a /TUNED episode about FF and the 818.

To my knowledge, he hasn't reviewed any other FF models. This would be a first.

does he only do it in LA? I would agree to it if it were in my San Diego Canyons.

I'm sure he would, pretty sure he's been up to Oregon and all over Cali.

If he's down to do it after the New Years would be down for it. I want to get my car further along with converting to the coupe and more "finished" to be in an episode. Better PR for the car if it doesn't look too kitish

You know what would make an even better episode? To have different versions/builds of the car available for review and comparison. Matt has done episodes like that before.

It would make for a good episode, we would need some more time for some coupes to be available than. Mine will be converted to a coupe by the end of the year and I'm sure other guys would be willing to do something with their cars later.

Ok great. If we could get a version of each--an R, S, and C--there would be plenty for matt to talk about, maybe even for a full-length episode with some track time! Usually he reviews the drivers about their build, and talks about the history. Good stuff for everyone including FF. The more exposure the better.
