The commercially built ones I want are $500.00 + so I've decided to give these a shot (for my Factory 5 Cobra) >>> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbdpo5tfzqs

This pair has about 12 years on them. Made when I could not get a floor jack under a car to start to lift it. One 2"x10" & two kitched draw pulls were enough

Even with a deep bevel cut you may find that they will tend to slide on a smooth sealed/painted garage floor when the wheels contact them. I made a set years ago so that I could raise the car enough to get a high lift jack under it and had this problem so I added a "tongue" extending about 12" farther than the lower tier. I used 7/16" OSB because I had it (when you build apartments, condos and houses you've pretty much got a never ending supply of this kind of stuff ;)) but 1/4" or 1/2" plywood would do. The wheels will easily roll up onto this thinner surface rather than pushing the ramps and then the weight of the car keeps the whole contraption stationary when the tires hit the bigger step ups.
