Hey guys!
After talking with Dave and our Head of Operations we decided that as of right now the only way you can get the hard top without the glass is by coming to pick it up. We can't do shipments because we don't have a shipping crate designed for it yet. Another option you would have is to call Stewart Transport (888)-737-4852, and see if there is a way they could ship it to you without a crate. If you have any questions please let me know!
Thanks :)

Anyone else from Colorado ordering a hardtop we could put together?
How is the glass going to be shipped? Will we spend twice as much on shipping if we get hardtop now?

LAME, alright more waiting than. Will there be a crate designed for the top and front end than when the time comes?

If you were to order the hard top now without the glass, then yes shipping would have to be paid again for the glass when it becomes available. When the time comes, yes a crate will be designed for the hard top and nose.. as of right now we're still waiting on our warehouse/shipping guys to design it.

I don't mean to change topics but what if we just want the new nose in white? Could we get that sooner and wait for the head light housings? That's the only back ordered part for the front right? Dave mentioned something about introductory pricing for the front end to existing 818S customers, will that be announced soon?

Any idea of a time frame for this?

Courtnie, welcome to a great company that has devoted (and impatient!) customers. I've got a top pre-ordered but will wait for white with glass. Do you know if the window glass will be installed when we get the top? Or, it is a DIY job? Or, will we need an auto glass pro to do it like the windshield?

Ha-ha, I can wait also. It would just help me with fitment at the stage I am with my build. That is the only reason I was hoping it would work out. No biggie though, I will wait until it can all ship as one.

Touche. But I think it's a fair question :) ; let me just phrase it more politely.
Hello Courtnie,
As AZPete said, welcome and glad to have you here.
Don't mind us, we are a bit... excited isn't quite the correct word, but it works. You will find that we're ravenous for any information you can provide, and any kind of communication you can give (good or bad) goes a long way to keeping us fed & sated.
Thanks in advance,
The Horde

For anyone asking about just the nose in white, we DO NOT stock them, so they would be made to order. You can order them, but we would need the payment and it would be about a week turn around on them. As for the time frame on crates, our Head of Operations is waiting on a call back from the company that he should be receiving today, so I may have more information on that a little bit later. And the glass would have to be done by an auto-glass professional. You'll get the glass in the same crate as the hard top, but it won't be fitted.
Can I help with anything else?

Thanks for the update Courtnie.
Dave said he would be running a special price on the new front end soon for us current owners, any idea when?

Thank you for the reply Courtnie. I just had two follow up questions on the white noses.
1. If we were to order them now, would we get everything we need (fenders, headlights, brackets, etc...) to do the conversion on an 818S or would we have to wait for any back ordered parts?
2. What is the total price for the new front end including everything needed? I checked the parts website and couldn't find this info so just asking here.
Again, thanks for answering our questions and welcome to the team!

Isn't the special going to be $799 like in his other post? Was also wondering what all comes with the new top and front end? Do we get new door frames for the power windows and the new front cage and brackets or do we have to weld on tabs to the current cage?
