How do you guys mount it ? There isn't a lot of room up front w/o blocking air flow. The only bracket I could find is here >>>> Shell Valley >>> Will this work ? And where is it mounted to
the car ?

^ Cutting and pasting is a very basic OS-type thing. When you "Cut" (Copy) can you paste it into notepad, or another app?

At the FFR open house this year, I saw a really ingenious front plate mounting system. The plate was centered in the mouth of the radiator opening. It was hinged from the top and at highway speeds it would just rotate back to allow air to enter the radiator. As an added bonus, it employed small magnets on the lower edge of the plate that would contact small steel tabs mounted above and to the rear of the plate, so that the plate could actually be folded back. In this position, the plate literally cannot be seen from the front. When the law stops you for not having a front plate, you merely walk to the front of the car and release it from the magnetic stored position. Something to think about.

So here's another possible option. I drove my Porsche without a front plate in NJ for 11 years and only got 2 tickets - $50 each. I did manage to talk my way out of a couple ("officer this car never had a front plate - as you can see there's no place to mount one") and only once was I actually stopped for not having a front plate. For $9 a year it wasn't worth either the cost or the ugliness to install a front plate

Thanks guys ,good ideas :) How about making a bracket that fastens to the "fake" drivers side quick jack ? Has anyone done this ?
