Anyone here know anything about the racetronic traction control stuff? Now that racelogic is history is this a viable alternative. I am almost ready to say forget the tc all together lol;!

I recall reading that Racelogic made one large final production run and has a bunch of units available for sale. Give them a call or e-mail. Very nice people to work with.

well ordering one today before they are all gone lol. The Firstirst thing I have purchased for my proposed build next year. Still struggling with going with the coupe though I am in Florida and the s with new nose etc. still intrigues me. I could live without ac in that and maybe just a small electric heater/defroster!!
Next big decision is deciding to go 6 speed. I think I will plunge for dss axles, cv's and custom hubs. Does the 6 speed have a lsd front differential ? Otherwise I will possibly just get the ppg gears for 5 speed and 1.5 lsd. I know expensive. Want to build motor for about 350 wheel hp.
PS I realize the gearing is not ideal in the 6 speed though that could be changed but my gosh that is expensive. A mendeola looks better every day LOL!

Yes, the 6 spd will come with front lsd. If you want a 1.5 lsd, don't spend the money on ppg gears, get a legacy gt tranny.

I may be stuck with a 2006 wrx as a donor. 5 speed mt. What is the consensus on rallyspec gears. either the ra which I know are thicker or the sti 5 speed stuff. Much cheaper than the ppg gears! Ratios are better than stock 2006 at least first gear imo. Got to open it up for a lsd anyways. Please remember I am sticking to around a limit of 350 wheel hp. After driving an Alfa Romeo 4c that is heavier and only 239 brake hp that is more than enough ponies. Almost want to save some more and get the Alpha but it needs more hp imo. Fun car all the same!
