Loose head light

On my Factory 5 MK3 (on the passenger side) actually it's just the headlight bulb. The light works . The chrome ring is tight and the ring holding screw at the bottom of the ring is tight.The bulb moves maybe 1/16" by hand .Any ideas as how to fix ? thanks...

If you take the light apart you will see 3 small metal straps that hold the bulb to the metal ring. These tend to bend over time or if the light is pushed on. straighten them back out and reassemble. I like to run a small (1 inch) bead of silicone between the light and the ring to help hold it. Do this in 3 places equally spaced.

Good advice from Michael. I've also replaced those little metal tabs with thicker material and haven't had an issue since...
