Hi guys, I am heavy into the cooling, inter cooling and oil system right now, don't really care about any carbon fiber stuff or the radio out put but just getting down to what's needed to turn the rear wheels, and keep the engine running strong, bottom line if these are working, putting in the stereo is a cake walk,,
What do you guys think about the pro sport dual air temp gauge for the intercooler, just to check up on the workings of the intercooler, so the engine doesn't get trashed!!
Would it be a good idea to watch this or just listen for the carnage?😁😁

I have it, and a few others on the forum have it as well. IMHO the more gauges, the better. Ideal would be to have a water temp gauge just before and just after the rear heat exchanger, plus a pre and post air temp (like the one you mentioned above). I'd also suggest: Wideband, oil temp, oil pressure, water temp, boost.

A pre intercooler air temp gauge is nice for determining the efficiency of the intercooler, but the important things is the post intercooler temp. That is the temp of the intake charge and the real information you need to prevent catastrophe.

If you are going to do testing on intercooler efficiency (moving the intercooler around, building shrouds and different air routing to the intercooler and such), that is where pre and post becomes a necessity.
