Roadster Koni Shock sleeve won't fit over shock

One of my Koni front shocks is .005 too big for the shock sleeve.
... I tried to interchange them and it is the shock that is to fat.
Can I send the shock back or do I need to send the whole shock, body, caps and everything for that one shock.

Al, on the Koni shocks for my 818 the sleeve wouldn't fit and I learned on the forum it's best to heat the sleeve and it will fit.
Unfortunately, I saw that tip after I removed the paint from the shock with a wire wheel that threw specks of paint over my wife's car. :eek:
Try heat.

Got it fixed. I put the shock in the freezer for 5 hours and the sleeve in the oven on 200 for 10 min. Slide right on.
