I an interested in the FFR fiberglass trunk insert but would like to know if any one has the rear engine cover hinges Mechie has installed and if they will work with the trunk insert.

Are you talking about the engine cover hinges made by replicaparts.com? I think Mechies are just for the trunk lid. My engine cover hinges work perfectly with the FFR trunk option. Check them out at
