ls series exhaust

I read somewhere that the ford 302 header spacing is the same as the ls series. I have searched for the thread, but I can't find it. Is it possible to buy the 302 headers and cut off the flange and weld a ls series flange to the header pipes?

Yes. 302/351w. You have to re-shape the end of the primary tubes round. Make sure to buy flanges that match your headers primary tube size. Mock the setup in the car and tack weld it, then pull it out to finish weld.
