Well, even if it's just our local community magazine, it still counts! Earlier this summer, my wife and I were at a local cruise night with our cars (talk about a mixed marriage - she owns a big-block, four-speed '67 Camaro) and we met a woman who is a writer with our community monthly magazine. When she learned that we both own interesting cars, she asked if we'd be willing to be interviewed for one of the upcoming "getting to know" features. Much to our surprise, they did a five page story and put us on the cover!

Now that you're famous, can we still talk to you or do we have to go through your agent?

JK of course; Congrats!

Having grown up on a farm, I certainly enjoyed the background! You and your wife have great cars ... terrific honor to be published!

The story was okay - my experience with writers is that their editorial style is always a bit different than mine... what I thought was good content was left on the floor. Overall, though, it got across our interest in sharing the hobby with others, especially the kids in the neighborhood who usually don't get to see these types of cars up-close.

Congrats!!!! I clicked on the picture to try to zoom in and actually discovered I could read the entire article (took me to photo bucket). I really liked the part where you overheard her dreaming about a Camaro. I hope you frame the whole thing. Very exciting!!

Congrats, Chris. It was only a matter of time. BTW: have you and your wife lined those babies up yet? That's an interesting matchup.

WEK.
