Hello Roadsters, I am in the process of planning/starting a 351W MK IV REMOTE OIL FILTER WITH OIL COOLER INSTALL. Any advice for a successful project would be much appreciated. Here is what I have planned so far.

- 351W
- I do not have the remote oil filter installed yet BUT i plan on installing the filter at the X member up front
- I plan on using the Finish Line
- I plan on installing the Finish Line Dual Pusher Fan set up
- I have a 1 piece radiator fan shroud already installed
- I want to use all STEEL BRADED LINES

Questions:
1. Has anyone installed this same design? If so. Can you give advice and post pictures?
2. Does my plan sound solid?

I recommend that if you are not going to track your car you skip this. If you want the look from outside, install the cooler and run a hose off each end just long enough for it to go through the radiator side aluminum panels and disappear. If you have to have it, use a temperature controller so the system is only active when it is needed.

I am building mine with a 351W stroked to 427, and my engine builder said I don't need a cooler. I really like the look of them so I am installing a dummy one, and doing exactly what Craig said. Also don't need the remote filter kit installed. Tons of room in the bay.

Thank you Craig, I will follow your advice and install a dummy one.

If you have power steering, that can always use a cooler.
