Open Wheel Body Damage from Gravel?

I built FFR 4107 awhile back, now thinking about doing a 33. My question is whether or not the open wheel look results in damage to the body from road debris? Have to admit I'm excited about maybe building another!

I did not have any on mine. And the fellow I sold it to has not had any issues to date. Of course if you do lots of burnouts where loose gravel is you will get damage IMO.
