Ultra-Lite Speedometer Calibration

After trying several times, I can't get my Ultra-Lite Speedometer to calibrate. I carefully followed the simple instructions, but the needle still doesn't move. The sending unit is plugged into a TKO 500 trans. I have a complete MK4 kit. I have rechecked the wiring and everything looks right according to the Ron Francis wiring diagram. Is there a ground that I missed? I have read several of the older posts regarding speedometer calibration. I guess I need a new set of eyes on my problem.

After looking at the installation instructions for the Ultra-Lite Speedometer, the sensor needs to be grounded. I found the gray wire under the dash and connected it to ground. I took it out for a test drive and followed the instructions for calibrating and it worked like a champ. All is well!
