What are these leftover parts?

In keeping with the recent "Where do these go?" posting by Karlos, I'm about to send my Mk IV out for paint and found the steel pieces pictured here when going through the large stack of excess/leftover parts from my complete kit. All the other leftover stuff is identifiable and genuinely excess, but I can't even find a picture of these in the manual or anywhere else. Does anyone know what they are?

Lastly, even though I'm getting her painted, I have to say these roadsters look pretty damn good in gelcoat!

The flat pieces with bent ends are for mounting the fan in a donor shroud. The others are for hood pins. Both unused on a complete kit.

Hi Jim,

Those top brackets look like the ones used for hood pins. I don't recognize the other ones. I agree with you. The gel coat finish has gotten a lot better with the new generation of roadsters. Lookin good!
