What the help is this?

Posted on the other site but figured I'd post it here too. This was in Box 4 in bag 10760. I think it has something to do with the radiator but can find nothing, as usual, in the manual. Maybe it is for a donor? Beats me. Anyone know? Cause my radiator fan is working just fine without it.

I believe that is your fan relay. So you would have a hot wire, ground, and two wires to incorporate into your fan circuit. It really should be used for your cooling fan if you can.

It is a fan relay leftover from the donor packaging. If you got a Ron Francis harness the relay is incorporated in the fuse box and this one is not used. This is an example of one of a number of redundant items that are not needed with the complete kit (or with certain options) but get pre-packed with ALL kits regardless of configuration, base or complete. It's not worth the extra labor or complexity of additional part numbers to delete nickle & dime parts like this relay and pigtail from kits that don't require it.

Perfectly good generic relay and socket. Can be used for elsewhere in the build, not just for the fan. Seems that every build adds a few relays...
