Today I had Benoit and Remi (spell?) stop by to see me working on the 818 kit. They are from Canada near Quebec and Sept-Iles. They are vacationing in Orlando area about 2 hours away from me. Benoit spoke very good English but had to be Remi's interpreter. Benoit has ordered a 818C and is going to do a N/A auto unit for his wife. He owns a Cobra replica. I gave them both a ride in my Type 65 coupe to lunch one at a time. We had a very nice visit and I may have talked Remi into building a 33 Kit.
Later, Andy a neighbor stopped by to look at the 818. He owned an original 260 Cobra in the early 60's. He wished he had it now. It always amazes me how these kits draw car guys like flies. I get to meet so many great folks through this hobby of mine. Thanks FFR for being the catalyst to good friends and folks coming together. :cool:
