Just wondering if this is something that people would be interested in. I understand it's mostly for new builds as it's not something to retrofit, but how many of you would have ditched the rear mount, up/down setup to a standard mid/forward position shifter for the T5? I know a lot of people have gone to the S10 tailshaft, and even a TKO for the mid shift option but if I could whip up something for ~$100 (similar to what Erik Treves and others did for their builds), would it be of interest? Seems like S10 tailshafts are getting harder to find and TKO's aren't cheap.

It essentially uses a bolt off the T5 case as the main pivot but I'm trying to perfect the arm from the tranny to the shifter rod.

Modern Driveline has new T-5's with a midshift option for decent money.
