Hello guys, anyone fitted some cobra misano seats ? Will they fit? I love the anniversay with the diamond stitch. If they dont fit, any other "racing seats" with recliners and diamond stitch?

Cool seats. At $1,900 each, I'm guessing not too many have tried them. :p Lots of seat options besides the stock ones. But the space is tight and recliners wouldn't have any practical use IMO.

If you can get the "foot print" of the seat it would be easy for someone to give you a better idea of how or will it fit. They have an application sheet on the site but you would need to print that to see it. I didn't see any dimensions on the various mounts but nice detailed pics though. Your best option in lieu of these is a racing shell that you can install with what they call the butt mod. It will give you some angular reclining capacity. However, the cockpit does not give you a lot of latitude for reclining. Like Edward said, the space is tight especially when you are talking reclining. I have sliders in mine but I have it so if my wife wanted to drive it will accommodate her and it does allow me to clean behind the seat a little. It doesn't give you all the adjustment of a regular car though. The butt mod would lower the seat and maybe give you a little reclining angle. It would not be adjustable. If you know of a good custom shop that can make you a double stitched diamond pattern cover you would save yourself a ton of money and get exactly what you want. Have a look at some of the killer jobs on the GTMs (similar shaped seats). Reclining in a roadster is inconsistent with my experience with the roadster. Sorry.

Good luck,

Thank you very much for the fast rep. I get that theres not much room. I'm 5.8 so i'm not that tall, i would probly put some sliders also. I dont know much custom shop that does a good job for a far price. Most jobs i seen the leather isn't placed correctly or the lines doesn't match up. I can live with minor ajustements for the recliner. I realy like the shape of the cobras and i can chose any leather. I'm waiting for the foot print from a rep. I will keep looking for other seats but the cobra really caught my eye.

I have Corbeau A4's and they fit the car like they were designed for it. I checked the dimensions of the A4's against the Cobras and found three potential problem areas where the Cobras are bigger: seat width, 25mm bigger; shoulder bolster, 44mm bigger (this one concerns me the most because mine are snug against the body adjacent to the door); and seat length, 49mm bigger.

My seats are mounted such that the back of the seat is mounted as close to the floor as I could get it (no sliding seat track) and the front is raised to suit my comfort.

I used the reclining feature during test fit to get the position I wanted and only use it now to vacuum the dust bunnies from behind the seats.

When you finally decide on a seat, be sure to order with a submarine slot in the seat if you plan on track days with your local club.

Any pictures of the corbeau ? Would love to see them inside. How bad do you think the shoulder bolster would be off ? I will be putting a top in the near future.

I think the shoulder bolster dimension on the shoulder bolster is a deal breaker for the Cobra seats. I would be nervous about the other dimensions as well. My advice would be to take the A4 dimensions and go shopping until you find what you like.

The top of the A4 seat is well below the top of the roll bars, so the top should not be an issue but I would check with FFR tech just to be on the safe side.

If you need photos from other angles, let me know
