I didn't even realize there was an award for best car in the Greenbelt, MD Labor Day parade. But we won it!
Here I am with my daughter (who helped bleed the clutch and generally entertain me during my year-long build), with the founder of the town's Maker Space, George Boyce.

Here's the car filled with the kids who threw candy to the crowds along the parade route.

I'm donating the $100 prize to the Greenbelt Makers Space (http://make125.org/), and we're talking about building an electric 818 as a Makers Space project next year, with the work done by local kids enrolled in classes at the space. I would advise and oversee the project.
