Outside door handles

Before i send the carcass out of the yard, Could I use the outside door handles? They did outside handles on the coupe. and I was wondering if I could adapt the Subie handles. That would give me a key lock the same as the ignition.

Unless you're building the coup I wonder why you would want key locks
I hardly ever lock my Miata I always thought it would just lead someone to cut the top if they wanted to steal my radio
Locks just keep honest people honest
