View Full Version : What are you using to clamp the radiator hoses to the frame?

I'm talking about the flexible stainless steel radiator hoses, not the pipes that carry coolant down the side of the car.

I've been using padded line clamps (usually Summit or Longacre) for clamping all sorts of hoses and lines, but it seems no one makes them big enough for the flexible hoses (1.75" OD).

Also, aside from ordering direct from FFR, does anyone know where I can get an extra 6' section of that flexible metal radiator hose? I came up short on mine.

Thanks

I used something from McMaster. Came with orange silicone in it just like the ones FFR provides.

I had a few that were too big from another project, so I just cut them to a smaller size, bent to the new size, and re drilled the mounting hole. I think they were 2" clamps.

There's got to be a ton of people out there with extra who went with the hard pipe kit.

I would sell you mine for cheap but until I finish my brake lines I am using it for mockup. If I can finish this weekend I will hit you up.
