I have read from previous posts on the proper connections for the FFR Heater lines to the lower intake and water pump and believe I have it figured out, however, my fuel injected 347 has a free EGR coolant hose at the front of the motor that is not connected at this point. Where should this go? Does this splice into the hose running to the heater core? Also, I have read posts where they delete this cooling function for more power, but I am leaning against that...thoughts, opinions and recommendations welcome.

On a factory 5.0, that hose does indeed attach to a port on the metal heater hose tubes. The coolant is to cool the EGR gasses a bit. If your EGR is active, then leave the coolant active. If there's no EGR, there's no need for the coolant. Deactivating both could give a bit better performance since the coolant / EGR wont be heating up the intake air, but I think this would be miniscule.

Thanks! I will delete it.
