With BRZ/FR S motor soon to be an option; can the BRZ/FR S trans be used too? If so then the shifter too will have to be adapted. Thanks

No. It's a rear wheel drive car. No axles coming sideways out of the tranny for what would be the front axles on a Subaru and rear axles on a 818.
