Registered in about a 15 min visit at the local DOL office and insured #8442 this past week. So today I took it out for about 15 mi drive in slick sand primer. The first thumbs up and nod I received was from a local police officer working radar in a 25 mph zone.

I noticed that the speedhut speedo that came with the kit only registers 10mph max and it takes some speed to get it up to that. I'm running 3.73 gears and purchased the matching set of driven and drive gears. the transducer is installed in tailshaft and I believe it's 2 wires hooked up to it from the Ron Francis harness. Of course the Body is now on and no access to back of speedo until it comes off next month for paint.

Anybody else experience this or have an idea for me to trouble shoot?

Thanks

Yep!
And that means you need the button plugged into the Speedo and a measured 2 mile stretch of road with no stops laid out.

Thanks Erik With all the excitement of the first real drive I totally forgot about that. A quick search I found Jeff Kleiner posted the instuctions a year back.

Thought about you couple weekends ago while out in Monterey. Went to Laguna Seca for the historic races. About 15 original 289 cars and about 100 GT350's race and show Lots of pictures and video.

Thanks Nuke I installed 2 buttons. One is in speedo now and the other is in Fuel guage. It will get moved to the clock when body comes off. I have a great straight road close to home I'll go mark out 2 miles with the daily driver tomorrow baring rain and calibrate.
