FFR Stock side pipes and CT inspection

Lots of great information here about inspection requirements, and the CT DMV is fairly transparent about their inspection criteria. One is that the side pipes must extend beyond the passenger doors. I was wondering if anyone has had any recent success getting through inspection with the stock side pipes supplied with the roadster complete kit. I'd hate to have them finished just to be told I need a longer pair of pipes...

Did you go through the inspection and registration process? Where you able to register the car as a 1965 Cobra? Where you required to pass an emission test?
