Where I live you need a front license displayed. Any tasteful ideas on how to deal with this? Easiest thing would be to wire it on for the safety inspection and then throw the plate away;however The Man may not see it that way

Do you happen to have a picture of your car?
Just off the top, try making L-brackets that extend from below the front clip of the car. I did this for one of my
vehicles in the past and it worked well.

I would go with a foldaway unit. I'm going to use one of these on my rear. The cars rear actually. I think the manual unit would be fine but you can get a motorized unit that works with the ignition or switch. Cool stuff.

KS law only requires a rear license plate, so I've been considering the same thing Geoff, but not sure if KS requires the tag to be seen at all times, and not just when it is moving down the street. Reading the law isn't very helpful, so think a call of visit to the DMV will be required.
