I passed the 1,000 mile mark on the 818 this weekend on the way home from my first HPDE day in it. Ended up at just over 1,100 by the time I got home.

Fun day at the track. Car handles amazingly well. I took it fairly easy to start, but as I built speed, something broke/tripped and I don't have any boost any more. Feels like the waste gate may be stuck open. I'll figure it out later, but a successful and fun weekend overall. Met a lot of new friends as a bonus.

I was thinking on the way home though, anybody else crossed the 1,000 mile mark yet?

Sometimes the eclip is known to fall off the arm or a wastegate vacuum/boost line will pop off.

Kalstar has gone past 1000 miles in the orange 818S I am pretty sure of that.

I'm at 1,900 already. All going very well, no oil air or water leaks...or electrical problems.

Im at 1400 miles and going strong. No squeaks, noises or issues. Ride is surprisingly comfortable and pleasant with the stock STI seats.

Awesome! When I hit 1,000, I thought to myself there was no way I was the first, but at the same time I couldn't recall any comments from others about the road manners, reliability, etc, so figured I'd throw it out there.

I'm enjoying mine a ton. As Kurk said, I agree that the ride is actually just fine, and much better than it was in my Roadster (which admittedly had the 4 link). Only issues I'm struggling with is a leaky gas tank (around the fuel level sender) and the lack of a radio/carpeting making the interior a bit spartan (haven't finished the interior yet).

No electrical issues, nothing unexpected as far as squeaks, rattles, or leaks (I had braced myself that the poorly designed FFR tank was going to give me problems). I'm running track focused Sparco seats that are a bit annoying to get in and out of, but once it place, they are plenty comfortable, including for the 2 1/2 hour drive up to Wisconsin this weekend.
