Hi Lew,
Jesse is doing a nice job with pictures of the progress. I saw pictures of your swinging assembly on the Hines balancer. I wish he took pictures of the pistons and connecting rods on the Sunnen hone getting blueprinted to exact tolerances (very important).

Those parts are specifically for an FE. I'm sure Mike could check on modifying the mounting bracket to fit a Windsor.

So today I mounted the FE filter housing on a 302. Very tempting. I figure the bracket & filter mount will be $110.00.
Should I make it?

Hi Mike, I'm definitely interested but I would like to see a photo showing the location on the front of the engine. The mounting point on the FE looks to be mounted to the water pump which keeps the filter lower than if it were mounted on the front of the head or am I visualizing it wrong? I don't want the filter high on the front of the engine. A photo of the two would be great and if it looks good I will buy the setup right now, also are the fittings AN-10?

I'll get it mocked up next week. I had bolted it to a small block and it looks good. After I get it mocked up I'll post a picture and them get 10 built so I can test the market.
