I'm a way off from wiring but thought I would take a look at the loom and instructions now. I thought it would be easy. The gauges shown in the instructions don't have the pre-wired connectors like my FFR gauges. And I can't see how the Ron Francis dash loom connects to them. I thought it would come with male versions of the gauge connectors.

Is there a different dash loom for these gauges?

If you read the manual, it tells you that the RF loom is only for Auto, enter gauges. I believe there is a separate set of instructions for theSpeedhut gauges.

It's not "plug & play" with either set of gauges. Here is a thread discussing the FFR/Speedhut gauges that I participated in which should help you.

Good luck,

OK thanks guys. Yes I did hope it was more plug and play as this is the part of the build that scares me most. I'll check out the link Jeff and take it slow!

I had no prior experience with wiring and I did my whole car, including mating the Ron Francis harness with a reproduction mid-60s Mustang engine bay harness. Just take your time and consult with the forums and you'll be fine.
