Newbie here from Plano Texas. Am reviewing options and want to go the mid 30's Ford Route. The Factory Five seems the best available. Am studying the 33 Kit hard, getting ready to pull the trigger. Anyone in the DFW area have one complete?

Welcome to the forum, I'm enjoying my build and happy with the purchase.
There is a map on one of the FForums that shows where the 33's are located. I think Geoff keeps it current IIRC

I just bought Kit 075. We got it home this morning. We haven't been able to unload it yet but we are anxious to get started. Since I bought it from an original purchaser, quite a bit has been done on it already. As we put together our thoughts on what we are going to do I will start a build thread.

Hi wrp:
I'm building No. 624 in Granbury and am well along in getting the body panels fit and have driven my 33 as a go cart. If you have questions let me know if I can help, I'm using Coyote power with a 4 speed auto OD with lock-up convertor. I'm hearing registration rules have changed for 2015, (his exact words were " you're not going to like what I'm going to tell you") that we have to meet emission standards and all safety rules. This came from an inspection shop here in my town that does not check emissions on inspection renewals. I would like to know what is required for sure before I get far enough that I need to redesign the exhaust for cats etc.

I am using an old time small block Chevy and was planning on staying with that for that very reason. I do understand that I could get left holding the bag on this one. I'll pm my email so we can stay in touch and maybe even link up at some point.

Luckily that is not accurate. I just titled a replica last month. There are specific steps but it can be done in Texas without having to comply with current emissions and safety.

WRP, I'm in North Dallas. I'd love to come check out your build if you are up for that.
